AUTHOR BIO

Brenda Strickland is a retired teacher who holds BS, MS, and CAS degrees in education and has authored nine nonfiction teacher resource books. She is an actress, puppet show creator, and won a Teacher of the Year award in 2002. Strickland was a board member for a district reading council and the United Way, and has volunteered at a local hospital, mental health association, and Operation Smile.
